Overview

The NT-A5 is a desktop, hands‑free barcode reader designed for fast omnidirectional scanning. It sits on a sensing platform so you can scan items without lifting a scanner, making routine workflows smoother.

Performance & compatibility

Built around a CMOS image sensor, it reads both 1D and 2D codes — including QR, PDF417, Data Matrix, MaxiCode, Aztec, Hanxin and MicroQR — plus common 1D formats such as Code39, Code128 and EAN/UPC. The unit decodes at up to 200 times per second, offers an optical resolution of around 4 mil and a scan field of 0–270 mm for flexible positioning.

Connectivity & standards

Connectivity is via a standard USB interface operating at 5 V (780 mA in use, 255 mA idle) for simple desktop integration. CE, FCC and RoHS certifications are listed, and the scanner accommodates A4-sized scan breadth for document and product scanning needs.
