How it works
This watch winder uses a built-in intelligent chip to protect your automatic timepieces from over-winding. It cycles automatically, alternating periods of rotation and rest so the mechanism only runs when needed.
Mode B runs clockwise for 2 minutes, rests 6 minutes, runs counterclockwise for 2 minutes, rests 6 minutes and repeats. Mode L runs clockwise for 2 minutes, rests 18 minutes, runs counterclockwise for 2 minutes, rests 18 minutes and repeats.
Compatibility & care
Not compatible with Seiko Kinetic watches — those use a different mechanism from traditional automatics. The design has been tested to avoid magnetisation, so it won’t harm standard automatic movements.
For reliable operation, place watches with at least 50% power reserve on the winder. If the unit appears idle, allow a few minutes — it may be in its resting phase, not a fault.
